Getting started
Prerequisites
- A monday.com account where you have permission to install apps.
- No external service required — Subitem Templates runs entirely on monday.
Install
Add Subitem Templates to your account from the monday marketplace.
Connect once
Open the app and click Connect to authorize it on your monday account (OAuth) so it can create subitems and write their column values on your boards. Until you connect, the view shows a non-blocking Connect banner and never errors.
Build & apply
In the app’s Settings, build a template (subitems, preset column values, and optional automation rules). Then apply it from an item’s menu, or bulk-apply across selected items from the board view.
